English Through Golf run 5 day courses that are ideally suited to either the experienced golfer or the total beginner.

The 5 day school takes place within the glorious West Sussex countryside of Goodwood near Chichester.

The 18-hole golf course in the grounds of the hotel is one of the finest in Sussex. Being only 100 yards from the hotel means that all tuition and practice can be done in one place, with no unnecessary travelling between hotel and golf course.

Participants can then fully concentrate on learning and improving throughout the week. These areas help to improve your confidence on the course, both with your swing and with your understanding of the game’s procedures. This will come as a great benefit to you, whether in a friendly game or entertaining a business contact.

The beginner is very well catered for and can be taken from the first steps to playing their first round of golf.

Golf clubs will be supplied if a beginner requires.

The English programme covers topics such as conversational English, business English and golfing English. This will be taught in the most natural and relaxed way by speaking English all day, both in and out of the classroom.

The standard of English tuition is among the highest in the world; tutors being supplied by the English Language Centre (a member of the Association of Recognised English Language Services).

The level of English required could be described as an intermediate level; that is, a basic understanding of the language is necessary to take part fully in the courses.
