iTunes Match arrives in UK
A few months after the US launch, iTunes Match has arrived in the UK. Part of the iCloud suite of web based services, iTunes Match enables users to replicate all music held on their own machines with the versions on the Apple servers. Local versions are checked against the database of songs and replaced with a higher bit-rate versions where necessary. Apple releases fix for battery life problems
