Czech based Internet security software provider, AVG, have now released AVG Anti-Virus Free 8.0, the latest version of the their popular and widely-used free security software.
Importantly, version 8.0 now incorporates protection from spyware as well as viruses. 

Available for Windows 2000, XP and Vista users, it can be downloaded here
